Thank you to everyone who attended and participated in the Fall reunion – what a tremendous turnout of alumni to help celebrate the 150th anniversary of the MSU Bands! 892 individuals attended the festivities, with 844 marching the game. Add in the 300 members of the Spartan Marching Band and that’s 1,144 musicians on the field at halftime! We’re especially grateful to so many new members and recent graduates, along with the return of Director’s Ken Bloomquist, John Whitwell, and Dave Catron. And, an extra special thank you to Dr. Kevin Sedatole, Dr. David Thornton, Dr. Arris Golden, the SMB staff, and the members of the Spartan Marching Band who were overwhelmingly gracious and hospitable.

In 2020 we celebrate 50 years of the Alumni Band. Please consider coming back to campus for the reunion festivities! A date has not been set yet – as soon as we have a confirmation on that, it’ll be posted on our web site, on Facebook and Twitter, and in email blasts.
